Dissolved Air Flotation (Elixir)

Elixir is the family name for a series of Sionix water treatment systems.

225 refers to the system rate of water treatment in number of gallons per minute.

  1. Elixir 225 DAF
    1. Stand-a-lone dissolved air flotation system.
    2. System designed for treating 225 gallons per minute or 325,000 gallons per day of water.
    3. Primary use is for pre-treatment or removal of suspended solids and organic materials.
  2. Elixir 225 DAF + Pressure Filter System
    1. Dissolved air floatation plus garnet sand pressure filter. (Note: Based on end user preference other pressure media is available.)
    2. System designed for treating 225 gallons per minute or 325,000 gallons per day of water.
    3. Primary use is for industrial/agricultural water supply or discharge to environment.
  3. Elixir 225 DAF + Pressure Filter and UV System
    1. Same as above plus ultra violet disinfectant.
    2. System designed for treating 225 gallons per minute or 325,000 gallons per day of water.
    3. Primary use is for potable water supply.  Can be used for treating surface and groundwater.
  4. Elixir 225 Desalination
    1. Dissolved air floatation and reverse osmosis with UV or other disinfectant.
    2. System designed for treating 225 gallons per minute or 325,000 gallons per day of water.
    3. Primary use is for potable water supply, but can be used for industrial/agricultural purposes.
  5. Elixir 225 Wastewater System
    1. Depending on desired effluent quality a combination of the above systems can be used with an initial sewage clarifier.
    2. System designed for treating 225 gallons per minute or 325,000 gallons per day of water.
    3. Primary use is for treating industrial/agricultural/municipal wastewater.
